Board Meetings

The MFF Educational Foundation Board of Directors meets quarterly, in March, June, September and December.

Now Playing:  Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk
Now Playing:  Hurricane on the Bayou, Greece: Secrets of the Past and Coral Reef Adventure are now playing in theatres worldwide. 
2011:  To The Arctic premieres in 2011
2012:  Return to Everest premieres in 2012
2012:  Humpback Whales premieres in 2012
2013:  Heart of Africa premieres in 2013
2013:  Native America premieres in 2013

Foundation Events

In 2008 and 2009, the Foundation continues to support student field trips to Grand Canyon Adventure at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego, at Boston’s Museum of Science and the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa.

Filming for Return to Everest is scheduled for April-May 2009.

Film crews will be traveling to Alaska to complete photography for To The Arctic in the summer of 2009.

Conferences

The MFF Educational Foundation is an active member of the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA).   Visit www.giantscreencinema.com for more information about our industry organization.

Greg MacGillivray introduced Amanda Shaw, lead character in Hurricane on the Bayou to a theatre audience.  Amanda played some soul-stirring Cajun tunes on her fiddle at the opening of the film in Irvine, California in 2007. (click image for larger view)
