HOME - MACGILLIVRAY FREEMAN FILMS - AN EDUCATIONAL LEGACY

Throughout its history, MacGillivray Freeman Films has maintained a steady leadership role in providing supplemental educational materials and companion programming with its films.  It has always been important to the company and to its museum and IMAX® theatre partners to help students, teachers, families, and people of all ages find ways to broaden their learning beyond the film-going experience.

The company has produced traveling companion exhibits, educational websites, tie-in books, family activity guides, and teacher manuals, and has sponsored science lecture programs and environmental fundraising events.  Each project has been intended to increase the reach of the films’ messages through complementary educational mediums.

The MacGillivray Freeman Films Educational Foundation will continue to build on this history of educational leadership by expanding and developing innovative new outreach programs designed to deliver high-quality educational experiences to ever wider and more diverse audiences.
